Appreciation For Essentials!
"Morning has broken like the first morning
Blackbird has spoken like the first bird
Praise for the singing, praise for the morning
Praise for them springing fresh from the world."
The hymnal version or the Cat Steven's Song, the sight of morning breaking with a sunrise can invoke memories like holiday traditions, Sunday morning church, or maybe the wise tale, "Red sky at morning, sailor take warning / Red sky at night, sailor's delight”.
Most of us do not enjoy the sunrise as often as it marvels its beauty. When people drive during vacation or holiday periods, we wake up mystified by the sun's beauty and wonder breaking on the long road. Traveling exhausts us, and the long haul makes us grateful it is not an everyday occasion.
